JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Bangalore
was instituted in 1997 by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore. The college is belongs
to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and approved by AICTE,
New Delhi.
The institute is certified by National Board of
Certification. The institute has highly qualified faculty. The institute has
initiated number of multi disciplinary and multi institutional R&D programs
with AICTE, DST and other departments.

Admission Details
The admission for Government seats is based on the score in
the Common Entrance Test (KEA-CET) & Counseling conducted by Karnataka
Examinations Authority on behalf of the State Government of Karnataka. The
remaining seats are filled on the basis of the score in the COMEDK-UGET &
Counseling conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental
Colleges of Karnataka.
Eligibility Criteria
2nd PUC/ 12th Standard/ 10+2 Examination with Physics &
Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology
as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study from a
recognized Board of Education with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC
candidates of Karnataka Origin).
