COMEDK UGET – 2016 Entrance Examination. Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka in a short form as COMEDK organize an Under Graduate Entrance Test 2016 (UGET – 2016). This test is held for for admission to MBBS/BDS/B.E courses in Member Institutions of COMEDK. This test is open to all the eligible students in the country.

COMEDK UGET 2016

• COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2016 is conducted annually by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for admission to UG Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses  in COMEDK member.

• Now a days, fourteen Medical, twenty five Dental and more than one hundred fifty Engineering colleges, who make available almost twenty thousand seats, are associate with to COMEDK and exploit its testing mechanism for effecting admission to UG Programme during the academic year 2016-17.

The test is Computer Based on All India basis and will be held across the Country to easier the students to take their exam closer to their homes as well as shorten their travel cost and other coordination.

COMEDK UGET 2016 Exam Date

• The Entrance Test COMEDK UGET-2016 is obligatory for all candidates seeking admissions to MBBS/BDS/B.E courses in Member Institutions of COMEDK.

• Now come to the point, probably COMEDK-UGET exam conducted one’s in a year. It is held generally in the month of MAY, whereas last year it was held on 10^th

COMEDK- Under Graduate Entrance Test 2016 Application Form

• Candidates have to register himself/herself by sending a request for COMEDK UGET 2016 Application Form called ‘(RFA) – Request For Application’.

• Candidates can login by entering their USER ID and PASSWORD as received in their E-mail ID after the successful submission of RFA and fill the details in the Online Application Form (OFA).

• After submitting the the Online Application form (OFA), the Physical Application Form (PAF) will be generated where signatures and seals of prescribed authority have to be adjoined. The form along with requisite documents have to be sent to authorities as mentioned in the Information Brochure.

• Start Date for issue of ONLINE Application form for B.Arch is June.

COMEDK-UGET 2016 Eligibility

Candidates from all over the country can appear for the UGET entrance examination. For Further details information are following below –

MBBS	Candidates must have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination in the marks on 50% in aggregate, in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.

BDS	Candidates must have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination in the marks on 50% in aggregate, in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

B.E.

Candidates should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed t hese subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

Architecture:

• For admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka).

• The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category students.

• There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.

• Candidates seeking B. Arch course shall submit separate application form.

COMEDK-UGET 2016 Exam Pattern

• Candidates are required to mark their answers on an OMR Answer sheet.

• The test of objective question carrying 01 mark for each. whoever there will be no negative marking.

• Candidates also NOTED that No Mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) of any question.

• For Medical and Dental Courses: Physics and Chemistry as one paper for two hours duration besides Biology and English as another paper for two hours duration.

• For Medical/Dental and Engineering courses (Both): Physics and Chemistry as one paper for two hours duration along with Mathematics as one paper for one hour duration besides Biology and English as another paper for two hours duration.

THE COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2016 is based on the existing syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th STD / 2nd PUC.

• Physics Syllabus – ALTERNATING CURRENT, OSCILLATIONS, HEAT & THERMODYNAMICS, CURRENT & ELECTRICITY, UNITS OF MEASUREMENT, ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION, MOTION IN ONE, TWO & THREE DIMENSIONS, KINETIC ENERGY, THERMAL AND CHEMICAL EFFECTS OF CURRENTS.

• Chemistry Syllabus – TRANSITION OF METALS, BIO-MOLECULES, NUCLEAR CHEMISTRY, ELECTROCHEMISTRY, POLYMERS, CHEMISTRY OF CARBON COMPOUNDS, ORGANIC CHEMISTRY, CHEMICAL KINETICS AND CHEMISTRY IN ACTION.

  COMEDK-UGET 2016 Result Publish

  COMDEK UGET 2016 shall be declared Result in the last weak of May.
  • The final merit / rank is generated based on the scores in the entrance test and the same will be published on JUNE. Candidates can check it from their personal account by their USER ID andPASSWORD.
  • Candidates who have applied for Medical / Dental stream will not be eligible for a rank if they have not secured 50% marks in English paper in the COMEDK Entrance Examination (40% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka)
  Online Rank Card will be available under “Applicant Login” in the COMEDK website from JUNE. Candidates appearing for COMEDK UGET-2016 counseling should download & obtain a printout of the Online Rank card.
