BVDU CET-Engineering 2016 Exam Dates

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU), Pune has announced the exam dates for Common Entrance Test (CET)-Engineering 2016, which will be conducted in May 2016. The CET-Engineering exam will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

BVDU CET-Engineering is conducted for taking admission to 4 year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programs in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production Engineering  offered at College of Engineering, Pune for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for BVDU CET-Engineering 2016:

Candidates should have:

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
• Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
• A candidate applying for the BBA/BCA program should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from any statutory board situated in India.

 

Application Procedure for BVDU CET-Engineering 2016:

 

• Candidates can obtain the application form from here.
• Completed application form must be accompanied by CET-2016 (Engineering) fee of Rs. 1500/-. It should be submitted either in person (in which case the fee can be paid by cash) or mailed (in which case the fee should be paid by Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- drawn on any nationalised bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd. payable at Pune, in favour of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune).

Paper Pattern for BVDU CET-Engineering 2016:

• The examination consists of one question paper. 
• The question paper will consist of two hundred objective type questions on Physics and Mathematics. The duration of the examination is of 3 hours. It will consist of 100 questions on Mathematics, 100 questions on Physics. 
• Each question carries one mark.
• There is no negative marking.

 

Important Dates:

 

• Last date for submission of application form: Monday, May 16, 2016.
• Date of CET-2016: Sunday, May 22, 2016.
• Declaration of result: Monday, June 06, 2016.
