NEE 2016 Exam Dates

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli has announced the exam dates for NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE-2016), which will be conducted in April 2016. NEE - II & III will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 and NEE - I will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

NERIST Entrance Examination is a gateway to take admissions into Diploma, B.Sc and B.Tech programs offered at North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) Arunachal Pradesh.

NEE is conducted at three Levels viz., NEE-I for admissions to Base Module (Certificate), NEE-II for Diploma in Engineering & Tech (Technology Stream), Diploma in Engineering& Tech. (Vocational) & B.Sc. Degree in Forestry and NEE-III for B.Tech Degree (Technology Stream).

Eligibility Criteria for NEE 2016:

• For NEE-I: Candidates should have appeared or passed class-X.
• For NEE-II: Candidates should have appeared or passed class-X (Voc)/ (PCM)/ ITI/ NERIST/ (PCB) or candidate should be certificate holder in AE/ CE/ ECE/ EE/ ME.
• For NEE-III: Candidates should have passed 3 years diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering & Tech.

Application Procedure for NEE 2016:

• Candidates can apply online from Monday, January 11, 2016.
• Application fee is Rs. 750/- + transaction charges for general/ OBC and Rs. 400/-+transaction charges for SC/ST/PH candidates.

Paper Pattern for NEE 2016:

• For NEE-I: It is conducted in one paper of 150 marks of three hours duration consisting of three sections viz. section A (Physics), section B (Chemistry) and section C (Mathematics).
• For NEE-II: It is conducted in one paper of 150 marks of three hours duration. The examination paper consists of either three or four sections.
• For NEE-III: Question paper for NEE-III consists of four sections viz. section A, section B, section C and section D.
