Asians Institute of Technology has been started by Gayatri Devi Shiksha Sansthan, a society that has been working effortlessly for the promotion of Technical Education.
This society addresses the need of a diverse group of people; be it the members or a curious mind, looking for food for thought in the field of technical education and social work. Gayatri Devi Shiksha Sansthan came into existence in June 2007 with the objective of delivering relevant quality learning opportunities in accessible, affordable and supportive settings. Highly reputed in the field of promoting technical education, the society strives hard in order to cultivate the fraternity spirit amongst the youth of today.

Asians Institute of Technology prides itself in understanding its responsibility towards giving students the perfect academic training and atmosphere. Our highly qualified teaching staff imparts effective knowledge in the classroom and gives assignments to students regularly to help them recall learnt material. We have a tutor-guardian programme in place through which parents and guardians are kept informed about their ward's academic progress. We send letters to parents after each sessional test with information about performance and attendance. Expert lectures, seminars by eminent personalities and certified trainers and an industrial visit each semester help prepare A.I.T.'s students to get a taste of the professional world.
Our library has a vast collection of academic, self help, English language learning and fiction books. We are subscribed to a number of national and international journals and magazines encouraging students to keep abreast of the newest advances in their field. With a membership to DELNET and the British Council Library, students can access research papers, articles and e-journals. A.I.T. is a member of the Indian Society of Technical Education (I.S.T.E.). We also conduct a wide array of extracurricular activities to help overall development of our students. Students enrolled in the Bachelors of Technology programme have chosen to, and subsequently been selected for, a professional degree course. At A.I.T. these students get a head start to engineer their careers.
