About Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Sonepat
Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram was born on 24th Nov. 1881 in Garhi Sampla (a village in old Rohtak Distt.) in the family of Ch. Sukh Ram & Mrs. Sirya Devi. He was a renowned educationist & named as father of reform for farmers. He has established Jat Anglo Sansthan on 26th March, 1913 after completion of his Graduation in Law. In 1916, he became president of Congress Party & continued till 1919. He formed Unionist Party in 1923. He became Agriculture Minister in 1924 & continued till 1926. The university strongly believe that neither the industry, nor the academics alone have the resources to adequately deal with the quest for innovative excellence in the current scenario for global competitiveness. Hence the Institute-Industry interaction program enables the students to interact constantly with the Industries.To meet the increasing needs of millennium & to cater the technical education demands of the NCR region ,University is now fully prepared to offer various technical/professional courses at Under Graduate level as well as at Post Graduate Levels.DCRUSTM Chairman Message :-
