Don Bosco College of Science & Management, Bangalore was founded in 2000. Since then, it has been striving untiringly in the field of education to cater to the needs of the less privileged sections of the society in and around Bommanahalli with the commitment to provide quality education. Now, it has carved a name for itself as premier institutions of excellence in imparting education in a value oriented climate.
The number of distinctions the college has bagged in all the streams is impressive. The various departments of our college are headed by experienced teachers and conduct several activities both academic and extracurricular. Through the literary club the staff and students contribute writings to the Newletter-‘Vartha Pathrika,’ which is brought out every semester. The students attend inter-collegiate sports and cultural competitions and have won laurels to the college. Our placement center helps the students in getting place at reputed companies.

About DBCSM B.Com Course:-

B.Com (Commerce)- Stands for Bachelor of Commerce. Typically, B.Com is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as accounts, math’s and economics. Commerce consists of a broad range of interdisciplinary branches such as Marketing, Finance, E-Commerce, Accountancy, Business Administration and Economics. Subjects typically studied under this degree are Accounts, Economics, Business Law and Maths etc.

Eligibility Norms for UG Technical Courses
A minimum aggregate of 45 % marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science / Information science in the P.U.C. examination of State of Karnataka or its equivalent examination in any other state is required for General Category . For PIO / NRI students the minimum aggregate required is 45%. Minimum aggregate of 40% for SC / ST / OBC Category students of Karnataka. This concessional aggregate mark is not applicable to SC / ST category students of other state..
Eligibility Norms for PG Courses
A minimum aggregate of 50 % marks for PG Courses. Minimum aggregate of 45% for SC / ST / OBC Category students of Karnataka. This concessional aggregate mark is not applicable to SC / ST category students of other state.Admission to MBA / M.Tech course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e, integer 50% (rounding - off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to **SC/ST and category I, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding - off aggregate percent is not permitted).
* The application and prospectus can be obtained from the college office on payment of cash of Rs 750/- or by sending a D.D. for the said amount in favour of 'The Principal, Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bangalore or the application can be obtained online.
