Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST), Indore was established in 2003 by Shail Group under the auspices of Shail Educational Welfare Society. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal for engineering and affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore for management courses. The college is recognized by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh and all courses are approved by AICTE.  The college is one of the premium institutes imparting top notch education in the field of science and technology and is an ISO 9001-2000 certified institute.

The institute today offers wide range of courses in Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Civil and Chemical Engineering. The aim of the college is to make every student an all-rounder and a confident individual who can face the real corporate world outside the college without any inhibitions whatsoever field one chooses to pursue.
