Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai was established in1993 by the University of Mumbai. The Institute was most popularly known as UDCT,Mumbai.Research has been an integral part of ICT, since its inception and it has created over 500 first generation entrepreneurs.The most outstanding Institute of the University of Mumbai.In a recent survey conducted by IIM, Bangalore on the relevance of academic research that has contributed to product or process improvements in the industry, MUICT appears in number one position for both chemical and pharmaceutical fields.It became deemed university under section 3 of the UGC Act and the courses at ICT are accredited by NBA. ICT grew significantly in stature and was granted autonomy under UGC regulations by the University of Mumbai.

About ICT M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field. This is generally a 2-years for  specialization program in a specific branch of engineering or a technical field. ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.

About ICT B.Pharm Course :-

B.Pharm.(Pharmacy) - Stands for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Typically, B.Pharm. course is a 4 year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as biology, physics,chemistry,maths.

Admission Details of ICT, Mumbai :-

The candidates who have passed the final examination leading to the Diploma in pharmacy conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or equivalent examination from an Institute approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. All these seats based on MHT-CET score will be filled by the Centralised Admission Procedure (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra (DTE).
