About PIIT M.E/M.Tech Course:-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.This is generally a 2-years for  specialization program in a specific branch of engineering or a technical field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.

Eligibility Criteria for First Year Engineering Admission (B.E.)
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 45% marks i.e. 135 marks out of 300 marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. Minimum marks (PCM) for candidates belong to reserved category such as SC / ST / OBC, etc. are 40% i.e. 120 marks out of 300.
