Prashanti Institute of Technology & Science (PITS), Ujjain was established in 2008, is a unique college of Malwa region for engineering studies, founded by Prashanti Educational & Welfare society. The college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to RGPV University, Bhopal. The goal of PITS is to impart a uniquely broad and interdisciplinary Engineering education of the highest academic quality. This is achieved through an integrated curriculum that consists of a highly diverse set of technical courses, interdisciplinary research projects, day-to-day interaction with industry, and preparation in entrepreneurship and personality development courses.

As the Chairman of PITS, I feel immense pleasure at the commencement of the fifth year of the institute. This institute was founded taking in view the rising needs of aspirants of engineering education in Ujjain as a mission.
Prashanti Institute of Technology and Science has the vision to be a symbol of quality education. With this in mind, the college has incorporated the latest trend with upgraded programmes and innovative methods of teaching and learning processes. This further strengthens modern strategies to interact with classical traditions in running the college to maintain a quest for excellence & improvement in all aspects & areas for value based education.
