About EAMCET Application Form, Exam Date, Last Date to apply

  • Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE.
  • This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
  • EAMCET Exam is for admission to Engineering, Medical & Agriculture.
  • EAMCET 2015 Exam will be conducted on May 10, 2015 from 10 am to 5 pm.
  • EAMCET 2015 Registration Process has begun.

Who can apply – The eligibility criteria

EAMCET 2015 Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility
  • Nationality: Indian Nationals or Persons of India Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
  • Resident of: Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions>> Definition of Local/ Non Local
  • Age: The required age of the Candidate is 16 years as on the December 31 of the year of admission. 
    • There is no upper age limit 
Academic Qualification:
  • Candidate should have appeared for Class 12 Examination or Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optionals or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh
  • Candidate should have also enrolled for bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000-2002 , or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • Candidate must pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 45 % marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology.
    • 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category

Important Points to Remember
  • The candidates are required to fill the Online Application Forms before the last date specified.
  • Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
  • Candidates are required to retain a print copy of the filled in application for future reference.
  • The University should not be held responsible for any technical issues which are beyond the control of the University.

Fees

EAMCET 2015 Application Fees

Candidates are required to pay the Registration Fee of Rs 250. The registration fees can be paid via two modes:


Mode 1: TSOnline / APOnline / e-Seva / Mee Seva

Mode 2: CREDIT CARD / DEBIT CARD 

Registration with Late FeeLate fee charges can be vary from Rs 500 to Rs 10000.

Selection process

EAMCET 2015 Selection Process
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in EAMCET 2015 conducted byJawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE.
  • The qualifying percentage of marks for the EAMCET 2015 is 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking
  • For candidates, belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe there is no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed.
  • 75% weightage is given to the Marks Secured in relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of Class 12.

Exam pattern

EAMCET 2015 Exam pattern 
Candidates are required to bring the following to the examination hall:
  • Hall Ticket
  • A good Ball Point Pen (Blue or Black)
  • Filled In Online Application Form with Photo affixed and attested
  • Attested copy of Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST category candidates only who have not provided the Caste Certificate Application Number during the Online submission).
Exam Pattern
  • Medium: The question paper will be in English and Telugu language
  • The questions are of multiple choice and objective type.
  • Each question has 4 options. Choose the right option.
  • Each correct answer carries one mark.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.
  • Duration: 3 hours
