Who can apply – The eligibility criteria

VSAT 2015 Eligibility Criteria
  • Age: The candidates should have been born on or after 1 July, 1994.
  • Academic Qualification: Candidates who have passed Class 12 Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 60% marks.
    • Candidates who are appearing in Class 12 Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2015

Application process and mode of submission

VSAT 2015 Application Form
The candidates can apply any one of the 3 modes to apply for the undergraduate engineering programs
Mode 1: Direct.
Mode 2: Post Offices
Mode 3: Download.
Confirmation of the application form: Once the applications will be received by the university, candidates will be sent an e-mail after 10 days since the dispatching of the application form.
VSAT 2015 Admit Card: Once the application is processed candidates will be sentHall ticket Mentioning Application Number and the test centre.
Important Points to Remember
  • The duly filled in Application Forms must reach the University office by April 10, 2015.
  • Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
  • Candidates are required to retain a photo copy of the filled in application for future reference.
  • The University should not be held responsible for any postal delay, loss in postal transit or any irregularity beyond the control of the University

Selection process

  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Vignan'sScholastic Aptitude Test VSAT 2015 conducted by Vignan's University,
  • VSAT 2015 Result will be declared on May 10, 2015
  • If the candidate has appeared in EAMCET/JEE, and has secured minimum 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
  • VSAT 2015 Counselling: Thereafter the shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling which will take place at the Vignan’s University, Vadlamudi, Guntur – 522 213 (A.P)
  • The Counselling will be held from May 20- May 30, 2015

Exam pattern

VSAT 2015 Exam Pattern
  • The question paper will be in English Language and will consist of 4 sections
  • There will be objective type question with multiple choice options to answer.
  • Each question has 4 options
  • Each correct answer carries one mark.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • VSAT 2015 will be a Computer Based Test.
  • Duration of the VSAT 2015 Entrance Exam- 3 hours
Streams of VSAT 2015
  • Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English/Aptitude in the V-SAT 2015 are eligible for all the B.Tech programmes.
  • Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English/Aptitude in the V-SAT 2015 are eligible only for B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics & Food Technology Programmes
