Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the names of participating institutes, which will offer admissions to the qualifiers of JEE Main 2015 and JEE Advanced 2015. The authority will hold the joint seat allocation procedure starting from June 25, for IITs, ISM Dhanbad, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs. As many as 88 Institutes will participate for the academic year 2015-16. After the latest updation made by Joint Admission Board, the four new IITs- IIT Chhattisgarh, IIT Goa, IIT Palghat and IIT Tirupati, have joined the league and will offer admission on the basis of JEE Advanced 2015 ranks. Now a total of 21 IITs including ISM Dhanbad, will also grant admissions to JEE Advanced 2015 qualifying candidates.

The Joint Admission Board (JAB), JEE Advanced 2015 frames the policies and norms for seat allocation to IITs and ISM, while Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) frames the policies & norms for seat allocation to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
From 2015 onwards, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has been formed that consists of representatives from JAB 2015 and CSAB 2015. This authority will conduct joint seat allocation procedure for qualifying candidates of JEE Main & Advanced, and will provide admissions to the respective institutes.
