AEEE 2016

Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) is organized every year by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admissions to engineering courses across its three campuses established at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year of B.Tech. programmes through counselling, based on their ranks in the AEEE.

AEEE 2016 Exam Date

• Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting Entrance Examination every year near about or more 75 cities across the country for admission to the B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) Programmes at its three school of Engineering located at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore).

• Now come to the point, Probably the exam held on April, whoever last year it was organized on CBT (Computer Based Test) 16th to 18th April, 2015 and (P & P) Paper & Pencil Based Test 25th April 2015.

AEEE 2016 CBT Test Dates: April 17, 2016, Sunday April 18, 2016, Monday April 19, 2016, Tuesday

AEEE 2016 P&P Based Test Date: 23.04.2016 (Saturday) Time – 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

AEEE 2016 Eligibility

• Candidates should be passed pass in 10+2 or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects OR 3 year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education.

• The candidate is required to be born on or after 1st July 1995.

• Candidates also note that who appear for the above examinations in March / April 2016 and expect to secure minimum marks as above, may also apply.

AEEE 2016 Exam Pattern

• The AEEE exam consists of three sections, i.e. Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry which has about 100 questions and the total time duration for the exam is about 2.30 hours.

• The test of objective question carrying 03 mark for each. whoever there also be negative marking of 1 marks also for incorrect answers.

Application Form

Candidates can submit application form Online/ Offline Mode from March. Candidates can apply either in Online Or Offline.

AEEE 2016 Online Application Form

• Candidates are required to first register with their name and email addressed.

• Candidates will be rejected if he/she submitted Multiple applications.

• Candidates must pay the AEEE 2016 Application Fees of Rs. 1000/- through online Mode using Credit/Debit/Net Banking. Application fee once paid will not be refunded.

• Candidates are advised to keep the Printout of the computer generated AEEE 2016 Application Form for future use.

Applications can be obtained in person form the Admissions office of Amrita 2016 Engineering Schools of Examination at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore.

AEEE 2016 Hall Tickets

The AEEE 2016 Hall Ticket / Admit Card will be available on University Website from 15 days of exam.

• Candidates can download the Hall Ticket from the University website by using Application Number and DOB. Hall Ticket will not be sent by post.

• No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination without valid hall ticket. In the Examination hall, candidate should produce the hall ticket when demanded by the invigilator.

• Candidates are required to produce any of the No. to prove their identity 01. Voter ID Card 02. Aadhaar Card 03. ID Card issued by the school last attended 04. Any other authentic document which proves identity.

• In the examination hall, each candidate shall sign the attendance sheet. This signature shall be identical with the signatures on the Application Form and the Hall Ticket. During the examination, the candidate’s left hand thumb impression also will be taken for identification. Thumb impression will be taken again at the time of admission for comparison.

NOTE – Candidates are advised that to take care their AEEE Admit Card in good condition upto admission in Engineering Colleges is over.

AEEE 2016 Result

• AEEE result shall be declared Rank List on the score in the Entrance Examination which will be published in the University website within two weeks of the last examination.

Counselling AND Admission

• Counselling for admission will be in May / June 2016. Counselling schedule will be published in the University website along with rank list of the Entrance Exam.

• Before attending the counselling candidate shall ascertain his / her eligibility for admission with respect to age and Plus Two marks . The seat allotment is based on rank in AEEE – 2016 and eligibility as per section 3 of the Handbook. If any candidate admitted is found to be ineligible at a later date, his / her admission will be cancelled.

• Counselling will be arranged concurrently in the three campuses. Candidate can appear for counselling in any one of the three campuses and opt a branch in any campus according to his / her preference and availability of seat.
