AIEEE is an examination which was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education in a short form as CBSE now be known as JEE Main in India.

The examination was usually held on the last Sunday of April and results are announced in the last week of May or the first week of June. Candidates are ranked on an all-India basis and also state basis.

Important Notifications for AIEEE!

As for this year and for the first time, the entire application process is online,& has to be submitted through JEE (Main). This JEE (Main) exam shall be conducted by CBSE and all NITs shall take admissions on the basis of JEE Main merit list.

AIEEE 2016 Eligibility

• The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.

• Those appearing in Class XII final or equivalent exam may also appear in AIEEE interim.

• Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech. and B. Arch./B. Planning Courses shall be declared using a format of list —-

Course	Compulsory	Anyone of the Optional Subjects
B.E/B.TECH	Phy. and Math.	Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology
B.ARCH/B.PLANNING	Math. with 50% marks in aggregate at XII level

AIEEE 2016 Syllabus

-BE/B.TECH

• Entrance Examination is of 3 hours which has objective question in the subject on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each question create on four option, whoeever there also be negative marking of 1/4th marks also for incorrect answers.

-B.ARCH/B.PLANNING

• Entrance Examination is of 3 hours which has 3 parts i.e. Mathmatics, Aptitude test and Drawing test. whoever Mathmatics and Aptitude test will have objective question, Drawing test will have question to check the drawing aptitude of a student.
