COMEDK UGET – 2016 Entrance Examination. Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka in a short form as COMEDK organize an Under Graduate Entrance Test 2016 (UGET – 2016). This test is held for for admission to MBBS/BDS/B.E courses in Member Institutions of COMEDK. This test is open to all the eligible students in the country.

COMEDK UGET 2016

• COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2016 is conducted annually by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for admission to UG Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses  in COMEDK member.

• Now a days, fourteen Medical, twenty five Dental and more than one hundred fifty Engineering colleges, who make available almost twenty thousand seats, are associate with to COMEDK and exploit its testing mechanism for effecting admission to UG Programme during the academic year 2016-17.

The test is Computer Based on All India basis and will be held across the Country to easier the students to take their exam closer to their homes as well as shorten their travel cost and other coordination.

COMEDK UGET 2016 Exam Date

• The Entrance Test COMEDK UGET-2016 is obligatory for all candidates seeking admissions to MBBS/BDS/B.E courses in Member Institutions of COMEDK.

COMEDK- Under Graduate Entrance Test 2016 Application Form

• Candidates have to register himself/herself by sending a request for COMEDK UGET 2016 Application Form called ‘(RFA) – Request For Application’.

• Candidates can login by entering their USER ID and PASSWORD as received in their E-mail ID after the successful submission of RFA and fill the details in the Online Application Form (OFA).

• After submitting the the Online Application form (OFA), the Physical Application Form (PAF) will be generated where signatures and seals of prescribed authority have to be adjoined. The form along with requisite documents have to be sent to authorities as mentioned in the Information Brochure.

• Start Date for issue of ONLINE Application form for B.Arch is June.

COMEDK-UGET 2016 Eligibility

Candidates from all over the country can appear for the UGET entrance examination. For Further details information are following below –

MBBS	Candidates must have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination in the marks on 50% in aggregate, in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.

BDS	Candidates must have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination in the marks on 50% in aggregate, in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

B.E.

Candidates should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed t hese subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.

Architecture:

• For admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka).

• The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category students.

• There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.

• Candidates seeking B. Arch course shall submit separate application form.

• The test of objective question carrying 01 mark for each. whoever there will be no negative marking.

• Candidates also NOTED that No Mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) of any question.

THE COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2016 is based on the existing syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th STD / 2nd PUC.

  • Candidates who have applied for Medical / Dental stream will not be eligible for a rank if they have not secured 50% marks in English paper in the COMEDK Entrance Examination (40% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka)

AIEEE is an examination which was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education in a short form as CBSE now be known as JEE Main in India.

The examination was usually held on the last Sunday of April and results are announced in the last week of May or the first week of June. Candidates are ranked on an all-India basis and also state basis.

• The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of class XII or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.

Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) is organized every year by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admissions to engineering courses across its three campuses established at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore. AEEE 2016 Eligibility

AEEE 2016 Hall Tickets

The AEEE 2016 Hall Ticket / Admit Card will be available on University Website from 15 days of exam.

• Candidates can download the Hall Ticket from the University website by using Application Number and DOB. Hall Ticket will not be sent by post.

• No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination without valid hall ticket. In the Examination hall, candidate should produce the hall ticket when demanded by the invigilator.

• Candidates are required to produce any of the No. to prove their identity 01. Voter ID Card 02. Aadhaar Card 03. ID Card issued by the school last attended 04. Any other authentic document which proves identity.

• In the examination hall, each candidate shall sign the attendance sheet. This signature shall be identical with the signatures on the Application Form and the Hall Ticket. During the examination, the candidate’s left hand thumb impression also will be taken for identification. Thumb impression will be taken again at the time of admission for comparison.

NOTE – Candidates are advised that to take care their AEEE Admit Card in good condition upto admission in Engineering Colleges is over.

AEEE 2016 Result

• AEEE result shall be declared Rank List on the score in the Entrance Examination which will be published in the University website within two weeks of the last examination.

Counselling AND Admission

• Counselling for admission will be in May / June 2016. Counselling schedule will be published in the University website along with rank list of the Entrance Exam.

• Before attending the counselling candidate shall ascertain his / her eligibility for admission with respect to age and Plus Two marks . The seat allotment is based on rank in AEEE – 2016 and eligibility as per section 3 of the Handbook. If any candidate admitted is found to be ineligible at a later date, his / her admission will be cancelled.

• Counselling will be arranged concurrently in the three campuses. Candidate can appear for counselling in any one of the three campuses and opt a branch in any campus according to his / her preference and availability of seat.
