Assam CEE 2016

Assam CEE 2016 is a joint entrance exam conducted by Dibrugarh University for admission into Engineering and Medical courses of the colleges situated in the Assam state. Assam CEE  is one of the important exams  for the students of Assam who wish to pursue medical and engineering courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, B.tech in the government and private college of Assam. The Assam CEE 2016 exam will be conducted on 14th & 15 May, 2016. The online application for the same has been closed now. Here in this article we will provide all the details like application form, exam pattern, result and counselling dates.

Important Dates

  • Online application starts from: 21st March, 2016
  • Closing of online submission of application forms: 9th April, 2016
  • Last date of the receipt of examination fee at SBI: 12th April, 2016
  • Assam CEE Admit Card 2016 will be available from: 10th May
  • Exam Date: 14 & 15th May, 2016
  • Result: Before 15th June, 2016

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates appearing for Assam CEE 2016 are advised to check the eligibility criteria, the detailed information regarding eligibility conditioned is mentioned gere as under.
The candidates must have a domicile of  Assam.
The candidate appearing for the exam must be in the age limit of 17 to 24 years of age as on August 1, 2016. Their is the provision of relaxation up to 3 years in upper age limit is provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
The candidates appearing in the exam must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/Maths. The candidates belonging to reserved category the minimum percentage criteria is 45%.

Exam pattern

The candidates appearing for the Assam CEE are advised to check the exam pattern, so that they can be aware about the pattern of the examination like no. of questions, marking scheme, type of question etc.
