Initially we started with nominal intake of 120 students, today we have an intake of 742 students at UG,PG,PhD. level.With the struggle and hard work of the students, the enthusiastic guidance from the teachers and the blessings of the management, today we have several students appearing in the merit list as well as in the distinction list of Mumbai University.We also encourage our students in interacting with the industry, by attending expert lectures, field/industrial visits, etc. We also have departmental associations for the students.Our faculty members are also representing on national bodies such as Bureau of Indian Standards, Indian Society of Technical Education, etc. At the University level our faculty has made their presence felt in Board of studies of several departments, etc.We have fully equipped laboratories in all the departments. To support the knowledge needs of the students, we have fully computerized library with more than 38000 books, 300 or more international journals and e-journals and several national journals.For the placement of the students at the end of their graduation programme, we have a strong placement cell and we have several reputed firms of all the disciplines who visit our campus.College has departmental associations for the scholars. school school members are representing on national bodies like Bureau of Indian Standards, Indian Society of Technical Education, etc. At the university level the school has created their presence felt in board of studies of many departments, etc.

About DMCE M.E/M.Tech Course:-
Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.This is generally a 2-years for specialization program in a specific branch of engineering or a technical field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.Admission Details of DMCE Mumbai:-
Candidate should be 10 + 2 pass with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics & should have secured minimum 50% marks (45% for backward classes)OR
Diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Engineering/Technology with minimum of 50% marks from the Polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomies Polytechnics in Mahatrashtra state.
