Shahji Vishnu Swarup Educational Village was established in 2010, under the aegis of Kamakhya Educational Society (A nonprofitable Society ) at the bank of Holy Ganga as well as on one side Himalayan range, just 1 km ahead from Mawana- Hastinapur valley at Meerut – Pauri National Highway. The Village is dedicated to Late Shri Shahji Vishnu Swarupji.
Hastinapur has its own historical backround too. History reveals that it was established by Chakravarti Samrat Bharat. Later on Kaurav and Pandav ruled over it for a long time. First Educational Village of India was established by Guru Dronacharya at Hastinapur. The same hypothesis was implemented by respectable Guru Shri Shri Swami Kanak Prabhanand Saraswati and Hon’ble Chairman Shri Sanjay Swarup Bansal so that again the great personalities like Lord Krishna,Bhishma Pitahmah,Yudhister,Arjun and Eklavya can be generated. Moreover it is also famous as the pilgrimeage of Jain Dharam. Its green forest provides shelter to the Biodiversity. Government of India has already established Wildlife Sanctuary in Hastinapur where thousands of migratory birds come every year. WWF has also started a few projects on crocodiles over here.
