Admission Details of APS, Bangalore:-
Eligibility Criteria (BE Programe)- Admission for the first year shall be open to the students who have passed the two years Pre-University Examination (Science) conducted by Karnataka State Pre-University Board. Or 10 + 2 School Programme of the Central Board (CBSE / ICSE) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematical as optional subjects and English as a subject of study Or Those who have passed 3 years of Diploma examinations recognized by the VTU.
- Candidates other than those from karnataka are required to obtain Eligibility Certificate from VTU, Belgaum.
- The Eligibility norms are periodically fixed by VTU with all relevant details of Academic Eligibility, Recognised Equivalent Courses for admissions to UG Courses as well as PG Courses and Institutions recognized for eligibility.
- Admission to the Master of Technology Course shall be open to all the candidates who have passed B.E. / B.Tech. Examinations (in relevant field) of VTU or any other University / Institution or any other examinations recognized as equivalent thereto.
- The candidates, who have qualified in the GATE Examination for the appropriate branch of engineering, shall be given priority. They shall be exempt from taking Entrance Examination.
- Admission to M.Tech. Course shall be open to the candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Group I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.
