About COMEDK UGET 2015
- COMEDK UGET 2015 is for admission to various undergraduate courses in member participating institutions for the academic session 2015-16.
- Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) is conducted by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).
Important Update: COMEDK 2015 Registration Process has begun on March 2, 2015.
- There are 14 Medical, 25 Dental and more than 150 engineering colleges in Karnataka who make available almost 20,000 seats for admission through COMEDK UGET 2015. >> See the list of COMEDK Member Colleges
- COMEDK UGET 2015 is an eligibility test for admission to B.E., M.B.B.S, Dentistry.
A candidate can apply for both B.E. & M.B.B.S through COMEDK 2015.
- The COMEDK Chief Executive in a notice has announced that the test will be conducted keeping in mind the ‘triple test criteria’ of being fair, transparent and non-exploitative so as to ensure merit based admissions through a single common entrance test followed by centralized counselling.

Who can apply – The eligibility criteria
COMEDK UGET 2015 Eligibility Criteria
Domicile: COMEDK UGET 2015 is open to all the eligible students in the country and not only for the students of Karnataka. Students from all recognised boards canapply for the entrance exam.
Age Limit: The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course
Academic Qualification for B.E:
- The candidate must have passed second PUC or Class 12 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government.
- In the last two year of study, the candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State).
- Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subject
- The candidates who are appearing for the prescribed qualifying examination and if their results are awaiting are also eligible to apply
Academic Qualification For B. Arch
- The candidate must have passed 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent Examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects OR
- 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC, ST and OBC Candidates of Karnataka).
- Qualify NATA Exam
- The candidate seeking admission to B.Arch should have cleared NATA 2015 with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 for both General Merit andCategory Candidates.
Kindly Note: There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.
Candidates seeking B. Arch course shall submit separate application form.
Diploma Candidates are not eligible to take COMEDK 2015 UGET entrance test

Application process and mode of submission
COMEDK UGET 2015 Application Process
COMEDK UGET 2015 Application Process has begun on March 2, 2015.
- Candidates can apply online Only at the official website for COMEDK UGET 2015.Click here to apply for COMEDK 2015.
- There is no Pen and Paper Form.
COMEDK UGET 2015 Application Form is quite different from other Application form.
- Firstly the candidates have to register themselves.
- Secondly, the candidates will get an opportunity to fill the Online Application Form
Application For B.E.
- The Application Process has been divided into two stages:
- Stage 1: RFA: The Candidates have to register themselves by sending a request for an Application form called ‘Request for Application (RFA).
- Stage 2: OAF: After Stage 1 is successfully completed, the candidates get an opportunity to not only fill up Online Application Form (OAF) but also, can check the status of Application at various stages.
- Candidates are required to take the the printout of the filled in application formon A4 Size sheet of paper.
- Further they have to get the Principal seal and signature from the college where they have last studied on the space provided in the printed application form.
Submission of COMEDK UGET 2015 Application Form
- After cross checking with the criteria for rejection of COMEDK UGET 2015 Application Form provided separately, candidates have to send the Application Form in Physical Format (PAF) along with the Demand Draft through Speed Post in A4 size envelope only on the below given address on or before April 15, 2015 by 5 pm.

Demand Draft: The Demand Draft should be drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favor of COMEDK .
The DD should be payable at Bangalore for Rs. 1200 for three subjects (PCB/PCM) i.e. for MBBS/BDS or BE and Rs. 1500 for all the four subjects (PCMB) i.e. (MBBS/BDS and BE).
Application for B.Arch Course
- COMEDK will not conduct any entrance exam for candidate seeking admission to B.Arch courses.
- The candidate has to submit a separate application form along with a DD of Rs. 1,000 in favour of COMEDK.
- Online Application will start on June 10, 2015

Selection process
COMEDK UGET 2015 Selection Process
COMEDK UGET 2015 Selection Process involves many stages:
Stage 1: Provisional Answer Keys of COMEDK UGET 2015 will be published on the website only late in the evening, on May 10, 2015 ( On the day of Exam itself)
- Clarifications to the provisional answer keys- May 13, 2015
- Final Answer Keys will be published on May 25, 2015
Stage 2: Test Score Publication-
- Test scores of COMEDK UGET 2015 will be published on May 30, 2015
Stage 3: Final Merit / Rank List Publication
- The final merit / rank list is generated based on the scores in the entrance test and the same will be published on June 4, 2015
- Candidates who have applied for Medical /Dental stream will not be eligible for a rank if they have not secured 50% marks in English paper in the COMEDK Entrance Examination (40% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka).
- Online Rank Card will be available under “Applicant Login” in the COMEDK website from June 4, 2015
Stage 4: Centralised Counselling for COMEDK UGET 2015
The publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counseling (Single window system) in so far as Member Institutions are concerned. There will be two rounds of counseling
- The First Round of Counseling will be scheduled from June 2015.
- The Second and the Last Round of Counseling will commence from July 8 2015.
