AP EAMCET 2016 Exam Dates

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE has announced the exam dates for Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), which will be conducted in April 2016. AP EAMCET will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016.

EAMCET is conducted for taking to admission to Engineering, Medical and Agriculture programs for the session 2016. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in university/ private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria for EAMCET 2016:

• For Engineering Programs: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.
• For MBBS/BDS Programs: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination.
• For B.Pharm Program: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto.

Paper Pattern for EAMCET 2016:

• For Engineering Programs:
  • The entrance test is of 3 hour duration and the question paper consists of total 160 questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry.
  • All questions are objective type (multiple choice) only and each question carries one mark. 
• For Medical Programs:
  • The entrance test is of 3 hour duration and the question paper consists of a total 160 questions comprising of a total of 80 questions in Biology (Botany - 40, Zoology – 40), 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry.
  • All questions are objective type (multiple choice) only and each question carries one mark.

• Last date for submission of online applications: Monday, March 21, 2016.
• Correction of online application data already submitted by the candidate: Sunday, April 03, 2016 to Saturday, April 09, 2016.
• Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs. 500/-: Saturday, April 02, 2016.
• Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs. 1,000/-: Monday, April 11, 2016.
• Last date for submission  of online application with late fee of Rs. 5,000/-: Tuesday, April 19, 2016.
• Downloading of hall tickets: Thursday, April 21, 2016 to Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
• Last date for Submission of Online Application with late fee of Rs 10,000/-: Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
• Date of EAMCET: Friday, April 29, 2016.
• Declaration of ranks: Monday, May 16, 2016.
