AUAT 2016 Exam Dates

Aliah University, Kolkata has announced the exam dates for Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT 2016), which will be conducted in June 2016. The AUAT will be held on Sunday, June 05, 2016.

AUAT is conducted for taking to admission to 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Computer Application (MCA), 5 years integrated MCA, 5 years integrated  Bachelor of Science Master of Science (B.Sc+M.Sc), 5 years integrated Bachelor of Arts Master of Arts (B.A+M.A), 5 years integrated Bachelor of Business Administration Master of Business Administration (BBA+MBA), 2 years M.A, 2 years Master of Law (LL.M), Master of Technology (M.Tech), B.A honours and lateral entry to B.Tech programs for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for AUAT 2016:

• For MCA Program: Candidates who have passed part I and aart II examinations by 2015 with at least 45% marks or equivalent grade taken together in respective Honours/Major subjects from any recognized University are also eligible to appear for AUAT-2016. 
• For B.Tech Programs:
  • Candidates must have taken Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry having at least 100 Marks in total in each in the final examination of the 10+2 pattern. Candidates need to secure at least 60% overall in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics taken together in 12th level. 
  • Candidates who are appearing 12th Board examination in 2016, may also apply, who has passed Madhyamik/equivalent exam.

Paper Pattern for AUAT 2016:

The paper of AUAT-2016 examination is of two hour duration (100 marks) for all programs:

• Part-A (25 Marks) on English, Islamic Studies, and General Knowledge (in the ratio of approximately 2:2:1).
• Part-B (75 Marks) for Integrated BBA-MBA program will be on basic Mathematics, verbal and nonverbal reasoning, Commercial Arithmetic and elementaryknowledge in concerned area.
• Part-B (75 Marks) for all 2-years masters programs (including M. Tech programs) (C 01 – C 16) except MJMC, 5-year integrated M.A/M.Sc in English (B 01)/ Geography (B 03)/ Biological Sciences (A 02), will be on the concerned subject.
• Part-B (75 Marks) for MJMC (C 07) will be on English (concept of Language and Literature), Fundamentals of Journalism & Mass Communication having its role as fourth pillar of Indian Democracy, Sports and Cinema.
• Part-B (75 Marks) for 3-years (Hons) in Arabic (D 01)/ Urdu (D 04), and 3-years BA in Theology (Kamil) (D02) programs will be on the concerned subject.
• Part-B (75 Marks) for 3-year MCA (D 03) program will be comprised of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Problem Solving Questions, Discrete Quantitative Analysis and Basic Mathematics.
• Part-B (75 Marks) for lateral enrty to B. Tech program (E 01) will be comprised of Engg. Mathematics (20 marks), Basic Computer Science (15 marks), Strength of Material (10 marks), Engg. Mechanics (10 marks) Environmental Engg. (10 Marks), & Basic Electrical Technology (10 marks)
