JNUEE 2016 Exam Dates

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi has announced the exam dates for JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE-2016), which will be conducted in May 2016. JNUEE will be held from Monday, May 16, 2016 to Thursday, May 19, 2016.

JNUEE is conducted for taking admission to integrated Master of Philosophy Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil+Ph.D), Master of Arts (M.A), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Public Health (MPH), intergrated M.Sc and Ph.D (M.Sc+Ph.D) Bachelor of Arts (B.A) honors and part time programs offered in various disciplines at various schools for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for JNUEE 2016:

• For MCA Program: Candidate should have bachelor's degree in any discipline with adequate competence in Mathematics under 10+2+3 pattern of education with atleast 55% marks.
• For M.Sc in Physics: Candidate should have bachelor's degree (with physics as one of the subjects) under 10+2+3 pattern of education with atleast 55% marks in aggregate (or in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined), or in Physics Honours. Applicants with B.Tech (Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer) degree can also apply.
• For MA Programs: Candidate should have bachelor's degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education with atleast 55% marks.

Application Procedure for JNUEE 2016:

• Candidates can apply online.
• Applications can also be obtained through post by sending crossed bank DD for Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi along with a self addressed envelope to "Section officer (admissions), room No.28, Administrative block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New delhi 1100067.

Paper Pattern for JNUEE 2016:

• For M.Phil./Ph.D.in Life Sciences:
  • The question paper will consist of two parts.
  • Part A: All the questions shall be of objective multiple choice types and shall be of B.Sc. standard.
  • Part B: The entire question paper will be of multiple choice type of M.Sc. standard on the subjects of Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry and other areas defining eligibility.

• For M.Sc. in Life Sciences:
  • The question paper will consist of two parts.
  • Part A: All the questions shall be of objective multiple choice type of 10+2 science standard.
  • Part B: All the questions shall be of multiple choice type of B.Sc. standard from the subjects of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and other related subjects.
